Gordon Haas is a wealth advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Financial planning is personal.

I discovered its power early in my career in finance, when I took a job helping state employees understand their benefits. Over the years, I spoke with thousands of public servants—crossing guards, teachers, police officers, elected officials—explaining how their pensions and 403(b)s worked, and how the markets could work for them.

What I found most rewarding wasn’t just helping them understand where they stood financially—it was showing them what was possible. Watching uncertainty turn into clarity, and clarity into confidence, was what hooked me.
That’s when I realized: this is the work I want to do.

Today, as a Wealth Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with Prudential Advisors, I help professionals plan for retirement and create lasting financial security.
My approach is deeply personal.

We start with a conversation—not about spreadsheets, but about your values, your goals, and your “why”. Once I understand what truly matters to you, my team and I build a plan that reflects your life—not just your balance sheet.

I draw on more than two decades of experience, from advising state employees to trading complex derivative strategies in the stock and futures markets. Before transitioning into finance, I built a manufacturing company and worked in the high-tech sector—experiences that taught me the value of strategic thinking, adaptability, and communication. I hold an engineering degree from Columbia University.

Clients often tell me what they appreciate most is my ability to make complex topics easy to understand. I take pride in being a good listener, a clear communicator, and a steady resource through life’s financial decisions.

Outside of work, I’m happiest with my wife and our two young-adult sons. I love traveling, listening to live music, hiking, and golf. One of my goals for this year is to learn how to ice skate backwards.

If you want to feel more confident about retirement and your financial future, let’s start the conversation.
